The Cheapest Ways To Eat Abroad

Do you wish to travel abroad but you do not want to break the bank? Then, it is best that you try abd find ways on how to eat cheap abroad.

Avoid buying soda. You may think that this is an absurd tip but trust me, avoiding soda will do great wonders to your pocket. Why is this so? Buying soda can be quite expensive. It will cost you about two to three dollars per soda. The bad thing about this is that a soda can will last only for a short time. As a result, you will end up buying one two to three times a day. Now, how much would that cost you?

Carry a Water Bottle with You. Although bottled water is not as expensive as sodas are. Buying lots of it in a day will cost you a lot. Remember that going on a long day of sightseeing and walking, your greatest enemy would be dehydration. Buying bottled water will not only be damaging to the environment but to your budget as well. This is why it is best that you always carry a refillable water bottle with you. Instead of buying bottled water, you can just refill it with tap water.

Avoid snacking. Most tourists make the mistake of snacking from time to time. They will be buying a soda here, a candy bar there, a small pastry and a gelato there. They think that since such snacks don't cost too much, it would not affect their budget. Well, that's just the wrong way to think. Truth is, buying little items a few times in a day will slowly add up. Before you know it, it already has ruined your budget without you noticing it. That is why it is best that you opt for bigger meals that will leave you full for a long span of time.

Take advantage of tourist cards. There are available tourism cards that will offer discounts to tourists when they go to certain countries all over the world. Most tourists think that such cards will help the save money on transportation and accommodation. What they fail to realize is the fact that these cards can also help them save money on food too. You can about 15-25% discount but if you are lucky enough, you can score up to 50% discount.

In addition to these tips, it is also best that you have your meals in these places that are not only tummy-friendly but budget-friendly as well:

Outdoor vendors. The best thing about street vendors all over the world is that they sell a wide array of food choices at very affordable prices. You can get sandwiches, sausages, hot dogs and many others from these places. This makes outdoor vendors the best people to go to if you want to have a quick, satisfying and affordable meals. This will certainly make you full without emptying your wallet.

Buffets. Buffets are not known to serve memorable food however this option will certainly give value to your money. It is highly recommended that you look for one that offers eat-all-you-can. By doing so, you can fill yourself for the whole day. This will certainly help you be full for a long time and you can avoid snacking.
