Out for a Date - Kimmy Dora and My Polka Top
I went out to watch Kimmy Dora 2. I'm a huge fan of Eugene Domingo. Even my boyfriend teases me that we have a resemblance. I don't know if I will take it as compliment or not - haha! Anyway, when it comes to wit and humor, I can say that no one can beat Ms. Eugene Domingo in the local showbiz arena.
Of course, my sweet and supportive boyfie - Pat :) We had a snack at Joey's - I just love the lumpiang gulay from this restaurant :D (burrrrrrrrrrrrrrp) Plus I'm on a diet so I am forcing myself to like veggies! (teeeheeeee!)
Doing the same pose again! I'm softening the angles of my face so it looks better on cam! (wish ko lang natakpan ang chubby cheeks ko! haha)
Stay Fab.Hot.Wild,
I can say that the first episode was better than Kimmy Dora and the temple of Kiyeme but it's still intellectually funny unlike Moron 5, The Mommy Returns (Gabby sounds corny and awkward), and Private Benjamin (Vice did great in this movie but the problem is his co-actors). I just felt that some parts of the other movies that I have mentioned are full of amateur jokes (especially Moron 5!). When I got out of the theater, I realized how dumb I am for buying a ticket for that movie. I don't know if the problem are the actors or the script. Unlike these films, Kimmy Dora is just naturally funny - intellectually funny!
What did I wear for our Movie Date?
I bout a navy blue thrifted polka mid rib top which I bought a few days ago. I bought it for 30 pesos only - yup you heard it right (I love reinventing cheap clothes). It doesn't look like a 30ish, right? Since I don't wanna go out with my flabby tummy showing off, I matched it with a DIY thrifted high waisted acid washed denim shorts. Yes - another thrifted item. I just don't think that there's a need to spend much just for clothes that you think will make you feel good and confident. These denim shorts used to be pants. I cut the rest of the length to convert it into shorts then I stripped off the fabric to make it look vintage and to hide the uneven edges! (haha)
I designed the turquoise blazer that I'm wearing in this picture. And of course it's created by my favorite dress maker - Tita Olive.
Make Up of the Day
Ever Bilena products are my fave! They are not expensive but gives the same look (I guess). Anyway, it's not the brand - it's how you will apply it.
Ever Bilena Precision Blender for my eyebrows - I think this one is available for only less than 100 pesos (cheap isn't it?)
Ever Bilena Concealer Stick - I have dark spots and even a granulated scar on my forehead but it's healing (I am hopeful! haha)
This shade is just perfect for a simple date and also whenever I apply eye make up, I always prefer lighter shades for my lips. It's just my rule to tame one part of my face to give way for darker colors. In this look, I used Baby Rush in a simple golden shade as a base for my eyeshadow. Using my Ever Bilena Brow liner, I highlighted the crease of my eyes and even out harsh edges using my index finder.
And of course eye liners and winged eyes and all the kaartehan na nilalagay ko sa mata ko para intsik-intsikan kunware (LOL!). It's an Ever Bilena product too. It's a Dip Liner in Black. I love how these dip liner makes creating winged eyes easier for me. It's not a brush. It looks more of a small stick with soft ends so you can easily apply it on your upper lids. If you are trying to do your first winged eye look, opt for this Ever Bilena product. It's user-friendly! hehe
Meet My Date!
