Out for a Date - Kimmy Dora and My Polka Top

I went out to watch Kimmy Dora 2. I'm a huge fan of Eugene Domingo. Even my boyfriend teases me that we have a resemblance. I don't know if I will take it as compliment or not - haha! Anyway, when it comes to wit and humor, I can say that no one can beat Ms. Eugene Domingo in the local showbiz arena.

I can say that the first episode was better than Kimmy Dora and the temple of Kiyeme but it's still intellectually funny unlike Moron 5, The Mommy Returns (Gabby sounds corny and awkward), and  Private Benjamin (Vice did great in this movie but the problem is his co-actors). I just felt that some parts of the other movies that I have mentioned are full of amateur jokes (especially Moron 5!). When I got out of the theater, I realized how dumb I am for buying a ticket for that movie. I don't know if the problem are the actors or the script. Unlike these films, Kimmy Dora is just naturally funny - intellectually funny!

What did I wear for our Movie Date?

Beauty Editor’s Choice

1MALIN+GOETZ 1OZ. ESSENTIALS, P 1,450

This all-in-one kit is a globetrotter’s ultimate travel companion. Packed in downsized carry-on-friendly bottles and made with gentle ingredients, you and your skin will be cleared for take-off.

2 REVLON CUSTOMS CREATIONS FOUNDATION, P 875

Makeup pros recommend keeping a dark and light foundation handy -  then mix the two for a customized shade. But five shades are better than one -  especially if they’re housed in this handy bottle. Twist the dial to get your perfect shade.

3 THE FACE SHOP WHITE THREE EX WHITENING FOUNDATION, P 955

Its lightweight feel and full coverage are winning qualities, but what I love most is its push-button, flip-top packaging. Beauty meets the geek in this little number.
